Looking for door with glass chicken wire panel?

Hi all- I’m in the process of renovating a home and am looking for a wood door for one of my bathrooms that has a frosted glass panel with chicken wire. I’ve found a lot of DIY sites online, but wondering if anyone has a suggestion of where else I can find one? Many thanks!

Well, in online you can find now plenty of places where they sell wood doors! Ali Baba is one of the greatest sites where you can find such doors. Or else do it yourself, just follow my tutorials from YouTube and build one.

wire glass and chicken wire glass are two different things. wire glass can be purchased from most glass suppliers. chicken wire is often found from salvage material places. find the door that fits your needs size wise. if you want true chicken wire glass, do a search on the web. there are places outside nyc area that have a wide selection and are priced better. The glass can be cut to fit your panel size. finding everything ready to go to fit you specific size requirements would be nearly impossible.

Build It Green- they have toooooons of old doors, they gotta have something. One in Astoria has more than Gowanus though so I’d start there.

The quickest way is to find a door with panels and have a carpenter buy some chicken wire glass and install it. Most good independent Glaziers stock it, they can cut it to size, and just have someone install it.
