Kitchen Toe Kick Heater
I am considering installing a toe kick heater in our kitchen because our new kitchen design will block the current baseboard heater. The kitchen has not been installed yet (I am still gutting it). I am going to talk to the contractor about this tomorrow. I am not sure if he’s installed one of these before. What are some things I need to consider? What are some questions I should ask the contractor? Where do you recommend I purchase one? Thanks.

I used these in a kitchens… I simply told the electrician that I wanted electric heaters in the kitchen kickplates and the location and it seemed to be a very generic kind of thing… he didn’t ask me lots of questions about varying specifications. My clients are happy with them. It’s important that they are installed very securely or they make a racket. www.janeinteriorsnyc.com

We have one hooked up to our hot water gas boiler that has an automatic thermostat that operates a small electric fan blower We have it installed under our sink area with a panal that allows complete access to clean unit. Recommend that the plumbing contractor mouse proofs the area.
