Kitchen contractor with IKEA experience?

Love IKEA’s highly affordable, we renovated our kitchen about 2 years ago and used IKEA kitchen mass. We have been very joyful with quality of the cabinets and counter. I would buy them again without indecision. People always comment on how nice the kitchen looks and are surprised to find out the cabinets are from IKEA. The key as mentioned above is to mix it up with your other kitchen fixtures.

Hi, We are looking for a kitchen contractor with some experience installing IKEA kitchens to re-do a partially remodeled kitchen. It’s a small-ish job but requires: cabinet-painting,cabinet install, countertops, backsplash and some other small jobs. No demolition required. Does anyone have a good rec for a contractor who can do an IKEA install? (our previous contractors walked out on us after showing complete inability with IKEA, so it doesn’t seem trivial).

why would you paint IKEA cabinets? I am also confused about the “after showing complete inability with IKEA”. IKEA kitchen are easiest to install. I installed one myself and 99% of contractors have better skills them me.

I recently had cabinets, backsplash, and countertops installed.  Not IKEA but I know this contractor has installed several IKEA kitchens.  Don’t know if he’ll paint cabinets – that can be tricky.  (I know since I painted my own (used, not IKEA) cabinets).  He’s done other jobs for me and for people I’ve referred him to.  Everyone thinks he’s great and easy to work with.  He’s also licensed.  Ben Ligotti 516-659-1052\.  Good luck with the renovations!

Repeating my comment which apparently never made it out of “review” IKEA cabiners can be installed by a 12-yr old. They have a simple and easy hanging system as well. If your incompetent contractor cannot handle them, give us his name as we’d like to avoid him. Second above comments also.
