how to get a sink replaced - plumber or contractor?

I recently bought a co-op and it’s my first time doing home repair, renovation, etc. I want to replace a sink (pedestal, not old) with a new sink with storage, I found a few I like in local places but don’t want to pick it up myself, would like someone to procure it for me and do the replacement.

What kind of service do I need to do this? A plumber? A general contractor? My building requires anyone doing work in the building to supply liability insurance so I would need someone who can do that. I also need painting in apartment so could a general contractor do both of those things? Or should one use a plumber with anything involving turning off and on water supply?

Thanks for any info on this topic. If you have any recommendations for specific companies or people, that would be great too.Like

You should ask your Super for recommendations. And tip him as well. It’ll all go a lot smoother that way.
