GREAT contractor recommendation for kitchen and bathroom reno

We just finished up a great renovation of our kitchen and bathroom with an awesome contractor. He’s Dan Catalfumo with Professional Construction Enterprises (www.profconstr.com). Full story below…or you can just trust me and call him now. At the end of March, we moved into a coop in Sunset Park. The bathroom and kitchen were disasters…but with a tight timeframe between our sale closing and purchase closing, we were only going to have about two weeks (11 business days, to be exact) to get at least the bathroom reno done. I came to the forum to plead for help (http://forum.brownstoner.com/question/0Mo1pKuJBDs=/a-quick-bathroom-renovation) and ended up finding the phone number for Professional Construction Enterprises way down in some random comment thread. I am REALLY glad I found them. Multiple contractors came to our place and just threw up their hands and said, “I can’t do it in this time period.” Dan Catalfumo at PCE looked and said, “no problem.” Oh, and he brought in the most competitive bid, too. Dan was amazing…always calm and diligent. He knew what questions to ask and what to take care of on his own. My wife was very pregnant during this period, too, and Dan and his team worked as hard as they could to keep us on an even-keel and get the work done as quickly as possible. Throughout the reno, we kept throwing Dan unexpected wrenches and he rolled with it and always answered, “No problem.” And it really was no problem. His guys can do anything, it seems. I have also used Kitchen Cabinet Kings and they have also done a great job. I wanted an all-white kitchen and they sure gave me one. It is beautiful and all worth it. You can check them out at kitchencabinetkings.com
