Custom Floating Shelves Build/Installation?

Hi all, I’m looking to have some floating shelves built and installed, but I’m having some trouble locating someone to do the work. I’ve already been in touch with Transcend Construction, but they’re not able to help. Here’s what I’m looking to do: In short, I’m looking to install some floating shelves in three spots in my apartment. I’m attaching photos to add a bit more clarity. Two of them are super-simple. In each bathroom, I’d like to replace the current ugly shelves (you’ll see in the pictures) with one-piece solid wood floating shelves (1 shelf in each room). In the first shot, the shelf would just be flush with the wall on three sides (the left, right, and back walls). In the second shot, the shelf would start at the left edge of the current shelf and extend the length of the mirror to the wall on the right (the outlet would need to be rotated so that it sat horizontally). The last one is the hard one. I’d like to set up four evenly spaced floating shelves on the wall of the living room, as in the poorly photoshopped third photo. The shelves would be roughly 9 13/16″ deep, roughly 64 1/2″ long and 2″ thick. However, my concern is the ability of the wall (drywall + metal studs) to hold that much weight — I’m guessing it might need to be reinforced. Anyway, I’m wondering if anyone has had a good experience with a similar project. Thanks in advance!

We have a number of these throughout our house, including four floaters exactly as you’ve shown, and have not had problems but they were installed really well…similar to what is shown in this link: http://www.sears.com/welland-10-inches-chicago-floating-shelves-hidden-bracket/p-SPM7202322708P In addition, we also used some sort of adhesive (glue, silicon?) to prevent the shelf from sliding. We did this after the initial installation because one of the shelves wasn’t quite flush after we loaded it up with dishes and that seemed to solve the problem.
