Contractors in the Clinton Hill Co-ops

Hi, I own an apartment in the Clinton Hill Co-ops and am looking for a recomendation for a good kitchen contractor and an electrician. I want to put tiles and/or a backsplash in my kitchen, replace my countertops and do some electrical work (hang a ceiling fan, replace some fixtures, etc). Any good recomendations for a reasonably priced, reliable contractor?

You may want to give Sal Camada of Friendly Interior Design a chance to give you an estimate. He actually lives in the Clinton Coop and has renovated a lot of apartments there, so he is familiar with the building rules regarding renovation and works well with the building manager. 917-828-4324

Yes, I would absolutely recommend Philip at philipshomeimprovement@gmail.com for any GC work. I hired him after he did a gut renovation of my friend’s studio. I live in the Clinton Hill Co-ops and recently finished a renovation which included a new kitchen. My contractor did a good job, and was priced very reasonably. Overall, I was very happy. He’s fully licensed and insured. Give a call to Martin Barazorda of JC Martin & Sons (formerly Inti Interior Finish), they are excellent contractors with a great eye for kitchen renovations.   They are licensed NYC contractors with both general and workers comp insurance – which I’m assuming is required by your Co-op.  You can find more info on them at http://www.jcmartinrenovation.com
