Nonprofit Seeks Interior Designer
Lantern seeks a highly professional interior designer consultant to help us update and improve the programming, community and staff spaces at our supportive housing buildings. By revitalizing spaces focused on providing services to our clients, we will increase our staff?s productivity and improve our client?s quality of life. Specifically, we want to implement a consistent color and furniture scheme organization wide, building and promoting the Lantern brand. We also want to reorganize the spaces in our buildings that are underutilized or inefficiently utilized. In addition, we want to help control our costs going forward, to ensure we are efficiently and cost effectively using our dollars as we replace furniture, saving time and ensuring durability. We are looking for an interior designer who has experience working with non-profit service organizations and who is mindful of cost and knowledgeable of good looking, easy-to-clean and durable furniture and appliances. We need an interior designer who can measure rooms and draw to scale so we can understand what proposed items will look like proportionally in the spaces. Additionally, we are seeking an interior designer who can help design built-in furniture for different sites, particularly desks. We are interested in working with someone with clear and efficient communication and demonstrated follow through.
