Home Insurance : Provider and/or Broker Recommendation Needed

I’m interested in shopping around for a new homeowner’s policy.  Would prefer someone familiar with the insurance needs within a four-family, Brooklyn property.  Would also prefer someone who answers the stupidest of questions with grace and patience.  And, of course, a provider that isn’t a pain in the ass should a claim be necessary.   Anyone with good insurance experiences and/or insights?
