Experience with NY Brick & Brownstone/Distinguised or Fireman's Fund?

We are looking for homeowner’s insurance for a brownstone we are purchasing. Does anyone have experience with filing claims with these two companies? Seems like they provide competitive pricing, but would really like to get some feedback on how they are if you a claim actually comes up. Thanks.
