Earthquake insurance coverage

Should have typed faults, not plates.  google it.  Indian Point is very unfortunately sited on the intersection of two of these areas.l

I’m curious if people are buying it for their Brooklyn homes.  Seems like it’s around an extra $1000 a year depending on carrier.  Thanks

Sounds worth it to me. The reason you have not heard of damage is because the plates of the earth under ny are way overdue for a big one…could happen any day.  brick brownstones will crumble.
