Coop insurance

Our building/fire/etc insurer just did a “loss prevention” inspection of our 1905 8-unit building and gave us a sizeable & $$$ list of things to install or repair, some quite major. Are all insurers doing these inspections?

Our insurance company inspects every 3-4 years and makes loss prevention recommendations. I think the inspections are pretty standard with most “decent” insurance companies.
