Boiler Permit Closeout

10 years ago Keyspan replaced my boiler. Recently I got a note from them saying that the plumbing permit is still open, and that they have contracted with Tavella Plumbing to inspect, pressure test and close it, at no cost to me. Firstly, a check on DoB shows no open plumbing permits, no violations. So is this legit? Iae, besides the weird state of my basement in general, an architect friend brought up the possibility that the plumbers may claim something’s wrong and want to fix it at my cost. Possible? Know anything about Tavella?
