I am in need of recommendations for BROOKLYN based (Sunset Park area) CLEANING PERSON and HANDYMAN. Cleaning person is easy enough… clean up after semi-clean couple in garden apt. Handyman is a bit more complex.  I’d love recommendation(s) for someone who can do minor construction (sheetrock and the like), painting, jack-of-all-trades type of person who is honest, English-speaking, self-sufficient and reliable.  I have a bunch of odd-jobs around the house that need doing – nothing necessitating permits. For a handyman I have used Brian Piersol on a number jobs and highly recommend him.  Not one quite like what you are describing but he is very good and if its something he can’t do he’ll come out and tell you.  His email is piersol33@gmail.com Good Luck

I use Eloisa as my cleaning person (common hallways, landings, basement) and her husband Julio Bonete as my handyman / maintenance person for my Brownstone investment property. They both have keys to my building and I’ve used them now for over 4 years.  Some of my tenants now also use Eloisa to clean their apartments.  They are extremely trustworthy and professional.  You can coordinate everything via Julio at 718-781-9904.
