Need a glass rec to recut the glass top of my coffee table- any ideas?

The top of m coffee table is surprisingly not tempered and got a big chip out of one edge when being moved. It’s 48″ square with rounded corners, about 1/2 or 3/4″ thick. I’d like to get it re-cut and take about 2″ off two whole side to cut out the chip and keep it square. I checked one place in Greenwood area that wanted $250 to do it- that seemed a bit high since I could just about get a new one for that price. Any suggestions or alternative ideas to standard glass places? I know it won’t be super cheap- was hoping for closer to $100 or so.

Try Mega Glass, which is no longer at their 5th Ave. address, but might, or might not, still be doing business via phone and online: http://www.megaglassinc.com/ Not a fan of Bear Glass, which I assume to be the Greenwood business you consulted.
