Wood Floor Repair

Hi Brownstoner,

I have a 3 family brick townhouse and was looking for someone who could replace some of the boards in the floor in one of the apartments. Some boards had cracked or had too much give. The wood is the soft pine and it’s technically the subfloor (so I read here) resting directly on the joists, but I’ve used the subfloor as my primary floors for over 20 years. Anyway, it’s a rental so I didn’t want to do a major overhaul, but I wanted a matching repair and safe floors for my tenants. The floors are beautiful by the way. After much searching and estimates, either it was waaay to high or I felt like they didn’t really care about the aesthetic, I went with Carlos Wood Flooring and am extremely happy.
