Wisteria removal

I need recommendations for a service to come in and remove wisteria from my fire escape on the second story and from my drainpipe. It’s a new invasion, mostly from this year. The parent plant is in my neighbor’s yard. We could buy/rent a pole-saw and do it ourselves, or someone could come in for an hour or two and rip it out. Any suggestions?

Call one of the Tree removal companies; they have the tools etc and are obviously not afraid of heights.
The cheaper ones tend to be just outside the City on the Nassau /Queens border so google in areas like Inwood, NY 11096

Pole saws are pretty inexpensive, so buy one rather than rent. Even better, find a neighbor who’ll lend you one.

Is it growing from roots on your side? Or just branching out from the neighbor’s plant? You can cut it wherever you want on your property. I don’t think you can touch the plant on your neighbor’s side.
