Wires on Back of Brownstone

We live in a co-op and have the garden apartment and full view of the back of the building, with its many working and non-working cables. Does anyone have recommendations on who we might hire to tie up these wires and perhaps assess which cables no longer function and can be removed?

The repair department is differed than the removal one which is different than the survey one, that decides which wires can be removed and where to reinstall, in which reinstall is another separate department

Working on a back garden in Manhattan at the moment. There is an incredible tangle of TW and Verizon cables at the rear of the property The developer of the building behind our site suggested that the only way to get a prompt response from the above companies, is to take a wire cutters to the cables. After 2 weeks of trying to get anybody on the phone, I’m tempted.

Call the Public Service Commission and tell them you’ve been in contact with the utilities but they have not responded. But don’t even bother calling the utilities because they will only frustrate you. The PSC will put pressure on the utilities until you are satisfied. It will be a long and frustrating process but if you stay on it, you’ll get it done.

Good luck. Call the Public Service Commission and say you’ve been hounding the utilities but to no avail. They will step in and put pressure on the utilities until you are satisfied. Don’t even waste time trying to call the utilities first.
