Window Installation - Is anyone happy with who they used?
We are re-doing the facade of our home and will likely replace the windows (perhaps Marvin windows). I have searched this site for suggestions for a company to install the windows and have not found any. The older posts recommend companies that are no longer around. And I don’t see any recent posts where the poster is pleased with the work. Does anyone have a suggestion for a reputable company to install Marvin windows? Thanks!

Chinatown Red we talked with a very reputable contractor who seemed to think that as long as the contractor doing the facade does not “build up” the return (the portion that leads to the window) that the windows don’t have to be put in first. Unfortunately, we may not go with them because they cost double of Bay Ridge. Why do you regret not doing windows before finishing facade? Thanks in advance!

If you are doing a full restoration of brownstone facade, consider installing the windows when the scratch coat is installed and before the finish. I regret not doing this when I had the opportunity.

We installed new facade windows in December and used Euro Window in Greenpoint and could not have had a better experience. Top notch windows (note they are tilt/turn which is the standard in Europe), quick lead time (8-10 weeks), and pricing far better than the big American brand names (Marvin, Pella, Andersen). Highly recommend checking them out. We’re thrilled with both the quality and install.
