Unable to find a hose connector to fit my AC unit, I simply bought a small piece of plexi, cut it to the width of the unit, and set the unit on top of it, shoving the plexi far enough out from the sill to be anchored by the weight of the AC, yet lower on the outer end, due to its flexion. Works like a charm; the water moves away from the house down the plexi, and drips far enough away from the wall to miss contact with the building altogether.

Both of ours have the hole on the bottom where you can attach a hose, so we got a hose attachment some clear plastic tubing from the hardware store and angled it to drip away from the house. Previously they were staining our brick white. We used this to attach the hose (part is for kenmore or frigidaire but may work on more if they have the hole…[PD_0042_253_5304481680](//muut.com/u/brownstoner/s2/:brownstoner:gvN7:pd_0042_253_5304481680.jp2.jpg)
