Where do you buy bricks? (In colors other than red)

Will be bricking the facade of a two story house and thinking about going with an interesting color. The neighboring houses on each side are different shades of red brick (not a landmarked area).

Does anyone recommend a good source for gray, white/cream or other interesting brick colors here in Brooklyn? Are there any colors you would avoid? I really like the streets where you see similar houses but they’re all different colors. Trying to achieve that with the brick instead of having to paint the brick.

Any thoughts, what hours and tips welcome.

My advice would be research the original historic appearance of your house and area and do something in keeping with it. That way your new facade will add to the charm of the neighborhood and not become an eyesore in 10 years. If your house is a wood frame, you might want to explore clapboard. As for pale brick, it came into vogue around 1895-1920. Mixing red, yellow, and orange brick in one row was unusual and trendy around 1895. Mixing paler colors of brick such as light gray, yellow, etc. was also unusual but slightly later, around 1900 to 1910.
