Water main for sprinkler?

Any leads on good companies to install a new water main to meet sprinkler requirements for change of C of O?

You might consider using different contractors for the interior and the exterior work. They are very different skill sets (and licenses). I used the same for both, thinking it would be more efficient — then found out the company (who did a great job on the exterior work) had no idea how to do the interior work or get the inspections done. After a year of this bs, I ended up hiring another plumber and two weeks later we were done. Complete nightmare. Total cost, including engineer, both plumbers, etc.: $30k.

can anyone send me approx costs for installing 3″ sprinkler line? I got a very high quote, seems super unreasonable

We worked with Liberty Water and Sewer to replace a leaking 1.5″ sprinkler main. Ken Sutherland was good to deal with.

I would not recommend Figliola.

When I was replacing my domestic water several years ago, I literally got a drive by estimate. Older gentleman in a Cadillac drove up to the house, didn’t get out and gave me Figliola’s price I don’t remember who we ended up using for that job.

Good luck. Water and Sewer main work in NYC is a bit of a racket.
