The Prospect Heights Street Tree Task Force (PHSTTF) will partner with the Washington Avenue Prospect Heights Association (WAPHA) on May 22nd to beautify Washington Avenue.

The joint effort, using a $1,000 grant from the Citizens Committee for New York City and with assistance from the New York City Departments of Transportation, Sanitation and Parks, will accomplish the following: new bike racks, new trees, street litter removal, new litter baskets, trees pruned, flowers planted, tree beds aerated and mulched.

Everyone’s help is needed to make this annual event a success. If you can just spare an hour please join your neighbors and help make Washington Avenue the finest commercial street in the neighborhood.
