since no one else answered urbandad’s question, i will, but will admit that i only know as i have been down to look at said die filer and have read about it on line. it is a machine like a scroll saw but with a place to affix a small file to work pieces of metal that will be used to make other pieces of metal. it is to clean up rough edges and excess metal left over in the process of making the die.

i might take the die filer. still pondering it.

i am thinking it could be handy for someone trying to recreate old lock parts. i am offering that thought up here because of no one takes that machine i will and i do not have room for it .

if anyone is thinking about it, ask questions and i will try to answer. the OP and his friends are hoping it finds a good home.
