Vent pipe

Anyone recommend a plumber for Brooklyn to clean a vent pipe and do other other work such as change out gas valves?

Vent pipes generally do not require cleaning. Unless you mean something else by vent pipe. Gas valve replacement. Do not touch it, because it requires locking the gas meter by the utility company, plumber need to get a permit from DOB, test all gas lines, go trough inspections, get gas authorization, and only then Utility company can turn gas service back on.
