Up for grabs: a safe from a reader

A reader sent in these photos of a safe with the following: “We
recently rented an office on Coney Island Avenue near Cortelyou Road.
Previous tenants left behind a very, very heavy, and quite large safe.
They left it behind because it is now empty and the office is on the
second floor. We offer the safe to you for free, but yes, you will
have to be able to get it down the stairs.”

Moze: please be clear, if you wish the big one, I will not go for it. I cannot cut in on this as I depend on this community for my work. if you pass on it and I get it, you can have my small one. suit yourself first pls. also, my small one is not on wheels. it is somewhat interesting though and has an interesting lock mechanism. btw, because these cost so much to move, the big ones are of little monetary value (I spoke to a real collector about this issue).

how do I reply to say I may be interested in this and have the people power to move it and the insurance? I am finding this new site a bit tricky. and Mozeeatupu, so long as the door is open you can figure the combo on these things. and if I get this big one, I have a smaller one downstairs here that I will want to part with.
