Timely kitchen cabinets
Hello-
We are putting a kitchen in a new rental unit, and the fly in the ointment is the delivery time for cabinets- we’re seeing ETAs of 4-5 months on brands like Thomasville and Kraftmaid, and even Ikea is cautioning about long delivery times for anything not in stock. Just trying too get simple stained slab-front decent-quality units. Any leads on stores/brands that are able to deliver in a more timely manner?
Thanks!
Doug

Sounds like wiessmans. This is good to know. I need some myself. It’s always nice to know where to get the odd one of these for basement storage or the laundry room.

Some RTA’s at Weismans are shown assembled and on display but most not. There are many up to date styles/colors available not on display sales person can show you in computer and with color chips. But as mentioned many other vendors offer RTA’s with no cost on line design service. Every possible style are offered. Those I got at Weismans were the most modern stye like you find at Ikea.

I used to buy knockdown cabinets that dfreed mentions at home depot but they stopped that some years back.
Weissmans sometimes puts cabinets out front of their metropolitan store. They look nice. Not modern though like people want now, but nice. If they are not down or sold assembled and in stock, that might be the way to go.

Many places offer Ready To Assemble (RTA) cabinets that are knock down, come in flat boxes and you assemble like the Ikea cabinets. Cabinets For Less, Costco and Weismans on MacDonald Ave, Brooklyn offer them. Several years ago got mine at Weismans. They offer no cost design computer service to assist with design with your measurements .Check on line for many others that offer them.

Big Reuse might have usable cabinets.
