Highly recommend Mario Feijoo — he is my go to guy for tiles and carpentry. His number is 917-776-4537. He has done many jobs for me and always on the mark. and very affordable.

A good tiler is a real craftsman. They are difficult to find because that have been so under valued by people that say; yes I do tiling… along with sheet rock & painting etc. Those that do everything, do nothing properly! And in tiling it really shows.
To get a true tiler is difficult and I so miss my guys that have retired back home to Spain, Poland, Italy etc

I think the issue is more that few people specifically sub out a tiler like they do a plumber or electrician. Typically you have tiling work done as part of a larger renovation and the GC handles or subs out the tiling work. Since it doesn’t work with a “system” like plumbing or electric there’s less demand for stand-alone tiling businesses. Have you tied calling a reputable tiling store and asking them? I am partial to Mondial Tile, as I am friends with the owner.

crickets… Should I take it that no one else has ever been happy with a tiler they’ve worked with either?
