Supply store compared to big box

We are looking to buy a couple of toto toilets and Kohler faucets. Is it true that the supply store carry better quality of the items compared to home depot? Even if the model is the same? Debating where we should pick it up from. Anyone know a good local supply store?

I didn’t think HD sold Toto, but could be wrong. I whole heartedly agree with the suggestion to buy local, and there are other reliable web based suppliers such as quality bath. But there are faucets from the large brand names made for the big box stores that folks have found to be different and poorer quality than might be found elsewhere.
