Stabbing/Shooting on Vanderbilt Saturday Night?

I was walking my dog to the park Sunday morning on Vanderbit and noticed a significant blood trail from the corner of Vanderbilt/Dean by Woodwork on down to the entrance to McDonalds on Vanderbilt and Atlantic. By a significant blood trail, I mean a constant flow, you could see puddles of it where the person stopped on the corner of Pacific and again in front of the McDonalds. Anybody know what happened?
