Single Ply Rubber Roof (Park Slope)

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone had experience completely replaying their flat roof (old/asphalt) with a completely new roof that uses the rubber top and metal flashing and how much it would cost?

I know it depends on the square footage, etc. but wondered if anyone had experience with doing a complete replace of a roof and the general cost?

We had a quote from Fred for our coop, was close to other quotes and he would have been my second choice.
We ended up going with someone else as they had experience using insulation sheets (unfortunately they’ve moved to Texas in the last few years……but glad we went that route)
Another person you might want to get a quote from is Jimmy Alba and Sons (917-214-5193) we are using them to do our deck roof in March and was very impressed with their suggestions/quote etc.

Thanks both.

The issue was that we did get a few quotes but they varied by more that $10k so was trying to determin a fair price for a rip-up/redo of the roof. $25k seems to be somewhat of a consensus while one quote we got was for $36k and the other for $18k so hard to know which contractor might be over/under quoting on the job.

I think we’ll be able to sort it out with either more specifics on the job or a 3rd quote on the job.

What @Mozee said, but assuming a standard 20’x50′ footprint, you’re probably looking at ~$6,000 for a new layer of roofing or ~$25,000 to rip everything up and start over.
