Sidewalk vault restoration

Hi – a structural engineer recommended that our 4-story coop building needs to have the basement vault under the sidewalk rebuilt, including replacing the metal beams that support the sidewalk, brick pointing for the columns underneath, and replacing the sidewalk itself. Has anyone does this before and have recommendations for an engineer/architect who could do the design work for this? I am trying to get an estimate of the steps involved in this type of project, how long the construction would take, and the estimated cost. I have received proposals from 2 architecture/engineering firms, but it seems they are used to working with larger buildings rather than a self-managed coop. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
