Sidewalk Shed Removal

Hi All: Anyone know someone who can remove a sidewalk shed? Our scaffolding company has literally abandoned their shed….will be up for a year at the end of March. Lawyer tried to contact to no avail. Any suggests?

You could try asking facade companies that use scaffolding who could take it down for free in exchange for having it – so long as there is no legal ownership issue.

Thank you both for your thoughts. The shed was for facade cleaning and repair, which is all done and the DOB signed off on removal. The company did not respond to a certified letter from our lawyer. I will consult with the lawyer and then look for another person/company to take it down. I was looking for a recommendation for a reliable company or person since we got the non-reliable company! What is the “shed” for? If it is property of the company send a certified letter to them and give them a date to come and collect their property. Send an email as well. If they don’t comply and you can resell it to another company then put it on eBay. If not get some neighborhood guys looking to make some extra cash to tear it apart, bundle it up and put it out for trash. But CYA first.
