Shower Temperature and Filteration Products

I live in a NYC co-op and want to renovate my bathroom. In particular I’m looking for a solution that will regulate the shower temperature (a digital read out would be awesome) and filter the water. My walls get yellow stains.
What have you done? What products would you recommend?
