Roofer Recommendations

Hi everyone – I’m looking for roofer recommendations. We have a townhouse with several roof leaks that we’ve patched up like that Dutch boy in the dyke.

The time has probably come to replace the entire thing so I’m looking for someone to assess the condition of the roof and replace it if required. Thanks in advance!

Steve at Brownstone Home Inspection is great. He did a roof inspection for me after the horrible storm last October did a lot of damage to apartments. Only it wasn’t the roof – it was the facade. Without Steve’s expertise, I would have been sent on a wild goose chase. It is worth the $500 for him to take a look and figure out exactly what is going on.

i provide roof inspection services for people who would rather maintain than replace. i coach homeowners in maintenance. i also provide leak detection services. i have very specific training and certifications related to roofs and building envelope issues. the cost for an inspection and maintenance report is $500.00 in Brooklyn and $700 In manhattan.

Flat roofs are made to be maintained and so long as the membrane is not shot, a roof can most often be salvaged.
