Revocable Consent for Stoop

Hello Folks,
I’m interested in talking to a homeowner who has experience with Revocable Consent for their stoop. My building extends to the edge of my property line, so as I understand it I’ll need revocable consent from DOT to construct a front stoop. I am willing to endure the time and cost in order to gain the approval, but my question is more about on going costs. I believe there are annual fees to DOT to maintain the consent (how much?). I also have questions about potential impacts to property value, and would like to know if the consent gets recorded onto the deed, and things of that nature. Does anyone have experience in this area? Thanks, Mat.
