Reliable plumber recommendations (Downtown Brooklyn)

We need a plumber to bleed air out of our new radiators and to help fix a leaking pipe in our cellar. Our handyman recommended getting a seasoned plumber rather than having him do it. The only plumber we know is through our GC, who we don’t want to use. Please send our way.

You’re looking for a “heating plumber” and that’s different no matter how good he may be at being a plumber. Boilers and heating is a skill set different from what it takes to install and maintain kitchen/bathroom plumbing and water distribution piping.
So there’s that.

We’ve been using I. Weiss and Sons (Atlantic and Henry) since 2002 and have found them prompt responsible and competent.
