Recommendations for someone to find and repair leak
I suspect a leak inside a wall in my kitchen is causing floorboards to start to warp and buckle. Can anyone recommend someone who is skilled at finding leaks, and hopefully repair or recommend a repair. Thanks.

It seems it is probably the fridge.
A few years ago in vacant apartment that my guys where doing a lot of work on after a real slob of a tenant moved out after 2 years. A mysterious leak around the fridge; the sink & dishwasher were over the other side of the kitchen, no radiator or plumbing anywhere near… a mysterious puddle would appear on the floor in front of the fridge every afternoon… It turns out it was from a tiny hole in the copper tube feeding the ice maker, water dispenser etc. A rat had chewed threw it and it only leaked, very slowly when the guys used the water dispenser at lunch time.
The rat had moved out with the tenant.

That’s the thing. We’re not actually seeing any water. A couple weeks ago we had a small leak from our fridge that left the floor and rug in front of the fridge wet. I had just changed he water filter for the fridge and assumed it was from that. When I reinstalled the filter and dried off the area in front of the fridge I saw no more water. Week later it was still dry. But the floorboards in front of the fridge started to warp and now it seems to be spreading. Not sure if the fridge is a red herring and there’s a bigger problem, if there is an invisible leak still coming from the fridge or if the warping is a result of the water from the no longer existing leak we could see.

Without breaking open walls etc it is very difficult to find leaks, water runs in many directions. And even once you have all the walls open, it can still be frustrating for someone that does not live in the property watching & observing etc.
You are the best person to find it.
Does it leak all the time or only when someone is using something anywhere in the house? Or only when it rains & the wind is blowing from the north at the same time? etc etc.
Plumbing Leak? Exterior leak? Heating system leak? or just a sloppy person taking a bath & splashing water all over the place on a regular basis?
