Question about smallish facade repair

So we have some water leakage coming into the top floor (3rd) of our brownstone. We are quite sure it is coming from the wooden cornice, and the carpenter we normally work with has wisely said that it is too difficult for him to reach. This we need someone with the ability scale tall buildings (or scaffoldings). Suggestions appreciated!!!

The leak is probably coming from the roof above the cornice. The Cornice is an exterior appendage that does nothing to keep the water out other than holding some flashing above it. Call a roofer.
