Problems with website
Not sure if this will post. I was having difficulties posting comments or topics. Part of the problem seemed to be that I was using safari – when I resigned in via Chrome, I was able to comment on a forum post. I am still not able to comment on front page articles. There is a heading “What’s your take? leave a comment” but no box or mechanism to actually leave the comment. I have communicated with Cate on brownstoner who has reassured me that they are working on it. A developer reached out to me – his questions gave me the idea of changing browsers. Do other people have problems (of course if you do, maybe you can’t respond!)?

it is pretty ridiculous that the brownstoner “update” has been such a disaster. what are the improvements? seems to me that everything is less functional and harder to navigate. why not just use a 3rd party commenting service like disqus or openweb like everyone else does?
