Problems with High Velocity Air Conn Systems

I cool and heat a small business ‘condo/suite’ with a HV system. I’ve replaced one in about 3 years of operations, said it couldn’t be fixed. Now less than 3 years later THAT unit has gone bad – coils freezing up and now leaking… Service tech says a number of problems from freon loss to drain pan cracked… But again, TOTAL REPLACEMENT is their ‘only option.’ 2 units, $9k later if i do this… Trying to find out what recourse I have, if this is common issues that they address ‘quietly’ and don’t want the market to know about, etc.

What system are you using? If Unico, are you having an authorized Unico service company look at it? Not enough info to provide advice, except to make sure you are dealing with authorized repairers who know the system you have.
