Portable sprinkler / fire suppression system

Has anyone installed a sprinkler / fire suppression system in their home that does not have sprinklers? Seems like something that should exist.

very easy to install… just attaches to the ceiling with a bracket. i think the 5lb one was around $300. they have different sizes for different coverage needs…

I can’t imagine why anyone would want this, or how it would be effective. I imagine a 5 gallon container spraying all over when you burn a piece of toast.

I meant an automatic system that is not connected to the plumbing system. There are items for ovens for example, but I mean something more general that can be placed in a room.

How do you have a sprinkler system without sprinklers? Isn’t that just called a water pipe?
