Plumbing Costs
Does anyone have recent costs to have full plumbing replaced? 3 floors, 4 bathrooms and two kitchens? All wet rooms are on either side of the main stack accessible through a shaft so not too complex. Ballpark figures would also be appreciated. Thanks!

I think mine – full replacement of entire plumbing system (but not touching any gas lines) including sewer main inside of house only, not including fixing walls, for 2 kitchens and 4.5 baths, plus random other fixtures like cellar sink etc. was around 80k or so. The only thing they didn’t touch was the roof penetrations. Doesn’t include PL filing or any architectural fees. That was another 7 or so. Add the buried sewer and water mains for another 40k (though mine were particularly long and deep). All licensed and insured and reputable companies, and all done properly with cast iron and copper. I thought it was pretty reasonable once I saw just how much work goes into it honestly. It’s insane with all the vent lines. But presumably you’ll never have to do it again so worth the pain (?).

Ballpark numbers are why my old boss’ boat was called Change Order.
That being said: I would prepare for a number on the close end to six figures if you include the contracting, electrical, heating, gas and hot water for 4 bathrooms and 2 kitchens you mentioned. Could drop or skyrocket depending on how customized you want it all.

Definitely somewhere between 10,000 and 100,000 😉 There’s so many potential variables involved that I would think it’s impossible for ballpark anything based on the info provided: sewer lines, and vents, and stacks, and whether you’re moving fixtures, how many tubs vs showers and are there gas lines etc.
