Plumber advice
So while my roof slowly collapses, I seem to have a new problem. I seem to have a leak under my bathroom which is coming through the ceiling. This is not a roof leak.. so my question is do I need a plumber to come first? Or a contractor to open the ceiling to see where the leak is from? Who figures out where and what is leaking?
And anyone here a plumber ?

About half of the plumbers I interviewed did not have a license. That is quite common, but I did not hire them for obvious reasons. It would be okay if it was something as simple as installing a faucet. I find it troubling when plumbers work under the license of another plumber without supervision or proper qualifications.

What dork says. I’ve had to trace leaks on big buildings. It’s crazy where water appears, hundreds of feet from the source. In my own house, when we had a roof leak, it appeared on the first floor, not the second.

“This is not a roof leak”.
just curious how you know this for certain, because for me the timing does seem a tad suspicious with your roof.
water likes to run down things like leaking vent stack penetrations, which connect to vent pipes in the bathroom (and kitchen etc). or It could be another leak finding the pipes and running down all the same.
not saying this is the case with your ceiling leak, but it seems like could at least be a possibility.
I would address both separately, but that’s just me.

I’d start with the plumber. Most will open the ceiling if necessary to diagnose and fix the leak (but you’ll have to hire someone else to replace it).

a plumber, contractor or a good handyman. try to identify what fixture this leak is under. could be simple fix like a wax gasket on a toilet or caulk/silicone in a tub, or a leaky drain under a sink.
