Pine wood floor replacement options

I have a rental with pine wood floors. From what I’ve read, and I’ve done some extensive reading, yes these are considered subfloors as they’re on top of the joists with nothing in between. The floors are in good shape overall. Finished with oil poly but there a few soft spots and places where a few boards are cracking. My question is does anyone have any pinewood replacement boards at the ready or know where to source them? Also wondering if anyone can recommend a flooring pro who won’t charge me an arm and a leg to replace 7 or 8 boards. Many thanks

Try green depot in Bklyn for the pinewood boards, Carlos Wood Floors (http://www.carloswoodfloors.com) who worked on my brownstone wood floors is highly recommended. They may be able to source the pinewood as well.

Try Pioneer Millworks in upstate NY. They have a wide variety of salvaged woods including old pine.

Often times I have found enough in closets to use to patch the main floor and replace the closet floors with less desirable patches: IE new pine etc. Most professional floor sanding refinishing companies can do this. Try Keith Theodore 917-518-9941
