Our Cats need a new home.

Due to worsening allergies and respiratory problems, it has become necessary that we find new homes for our two cats. (We’ve held out for nearly two years, but the situation has become untenable.)

Both cats came from the ASPCA shelter in Manhattan. Both had all their shots and were neutered by the shelter. Since they are 100% indoor cats and never come in contact with other cats, we have not kept up with annual shots.

First there is Widget! She’s a grey and tan tortoise cat and just a little sweetie. She’s about 12 years old. She loves to sit on your lap or next to you and really likes belly rubs.
She’s small and thin. She’s still as energetic as one would expect from a 12 year old; she sleeps most of the day with periodic episodes of chasing imaginary friends through the house..

Then there’s Toofie. (His real name is Teufel – German for devil and pronounced “Toy-fel”, but he doesn’t speak German, so he answers to Toofie.) He’s a beautiful blonde boy of about 8 years. Cuddly and affectionate, he’ll let you know when it’s time to for a meal with gentle head butts.

He’s average size for a male cat.

We’d love to see them adopted together, but realize that might not be possible.
