New Forum format

Does anyone else hate having to click on an individual forum to see what’s going on in the forum at large? I used to love to scroll back 2 or 3 pages to see everything going on over the past day or so. Now it seems you have to click on an individual forum to see stuff. This sucks. I don’t even bother going past the initial page that comes up when I click the main Forum header. Am I alone in this?

bkk — thanks, I just tried that. Although it would be more intuitive if one did not have to click to remove the filter…. or maybe I’m just not “seeing it” right now and at some point it will make perfect sense why this is a better forum. You are not alone. The individual forums are not that helpful either, as there are only 7 questions in the renovation section, whereas most of the topics in the general forum are for renovation. It would be far more helpful/useful to have a system of tags (plumbing, electricity, landscape, quality of life, etc) and keep everything in one general forum.

If you click “General Discussion” when you first enter “Forum” it will remove the filter and you will then be able to click through page by page similar to the old format. I ran into the same thing when I first saw the new format.
