Need to put 220 V electric up to top of one family brownstone for new dryer

Can anyone recommend an electrician that can channel through the old walls up 4 floors from our basement to the top where the new Miele washer and dryer will be? I would need them to plaster after but not paint.

I wouldn’t go ventless unless venting proved impractical.

220v electric dryers are not 1/4 as fast as gas; more like 1/2-2/3. But faster if vented.

I assume you don’t has a gas line or else why on earth would you spend all ths money on a 1/4 efficient dryer?

Update on what we did: The electrician ran a designated line up from the basement to the top floor. He only had to cut 3 holes in my brownstone. Two small ones in the living room (plasterboard anyway) and then another above the shower (also plasterboard) in my bathroom on the 3rd floor. I was amazed. We opted for a ventless Miele T8033C dryer – from AJMadison. Total cost for the electric was $2,600. Now I have to pay to have the holes fixed because the electrician doesn’t do that.

I agree with eman’s suggestion to run the wires through a conduit on the back of the house–MUCH less mess.

Since the dryer is on the top floor could it be vented through the roof? Is that permitted?

might it not be easier to run aluminum conduit up the back of the building and channel to the new dryer location? BTW you can get ventless electric dryers mozeeatupu
