Need Bronx Plumber for historic home

Hello.

My wife and I are in the process of buying an old historic, Queen Anne style row house in the Bedford Park section of the Bronx. The home is 110 years old and has a serious plumbing issue — blockage somewhere in the pipes causing flooding in one of the kitchens and leaking water from the ceiling below.

We are still negotiating the purchase and need a reputable plumber to come to the home ASAP to evaluate the problem and give an estimate for what repair would cost. This is a home with almost all original features and we intend to keep it that way, so a plumber who could evaluate and ultimately repair the problem without damaging the historic features of the home.

If anyone has experience with a plumber that works in the Bronx with old, multistory homes, I’d love a referral.
