Need advice. Plumbing/Pipe/ water issues.

We live in a 2 family 14 years and since June of this year have had a lot of water coming in to our sump pump in the basement that was never there before.
We have noticed that when the upstairs tenants put on the washing machine like today the sump pump emptied twice (around 30 gallons of water in total) there is no water damage whatsoever in any walls or ceilings so this leads me to believe the problem is underground we have actually seen the water coming to the sump pump.
Any advice or honest recommendations would be greatly appreciated or if someone else has had this problem please reach out.

Snake through the sewer line, it is a flow problem in the sewer line somewhere.
